This theatre is a permanent residence of the Blue Man Group. These artists became a cult icon performing on the streets of Manhattan in the 1980s. It was built on the site of the old New Yorker Theatre renamed the Panasonic Theatre.This is a state-of-the-art theatrical and technological maserpiece. Capacity of the theatre = 701.Lobby alone is outfitted with $250,000 worth of Panasonic´s next-generation audio-visual and display equipment. Blue Man Group show is incredible. They communicate by facial expression, music, and action. When 3 men appear on the stage they immediately spark public’s attention for the rest of the performance. One of the most interesting parts of the show – their music. It feels like a blast of energy. “Blue Men” are famous for using some unique musical instruments, such as Tubulum, Drumbone, Cimbalom, Air Poles etc. that makes it sounding amazing and fresh.
